Why did my peptide gel or turn cloudy after reconstitution?

Some peptides are pH sensitive. This includes growth hormone releasing peptides such as Tesamorelin, AOD-9604, CJC-1295 with DAC, CJC-1295 no DAC, Ipamorelin, Sermorelin, and GHRP-2, along with any blend of these products.


These peptides depend on a specific pH range to stay in solution. Reconstituting with a solvent outside that range can cause the peptide's structure to unfold and clump together, which shows up as gelling or cloudiness in the vial.


We test our reconstitution solution against these peptides, and they reconstitute correctly when used as directed. If a vial gelled or turned cloudy, the most common cause is the water used.
